Cox College’s first Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Cohort and Faculty
This academic year marks an historic occasion for Cox College–the very first cohort of the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT). “This program is such a huge step for not only Cox College, but for southwest Missouri healthcare systems,” said April Swanson, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the College. “The process of starting this program arose out of a need for Occupational Therapists both within our local community and CoxHealth. Some companies have had openings for OT’s posted for years without an applicant. This first class of students is very diverse and includes students from all over the U.S.”
Cox College is excited to welcome our MSOT students not only to the campus but also to Springfield! For more information about our Occupational Therapy program, please visit their webpage.
